Born on October 11, in Poughkeepsie, New York, Marcus was raised in a Christian home and has desired to serve the Lord since he was a child. Today, he’s the founder of Marcus Gill International based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
He is happily married to his best friend Dominique. She's a school teacher currently completing her Doctorate in education administration, the author of the book Her Purpose Matters and she travels with him and passionately leads praise and worship through song. Lady Gill, as many adoringly call her, is the CEO of the Gill Music Group; MGI’s music label that produces original praise and worship songs. Pastor Marcus and Lady Dominique have 2 daughters named Madison and Maci.
His impactful teachings promote spiritual growth and understanding, while extensive humanitarian efforts demonstrate Christ’s love in action.
MGI hosts multiple conferences a year around the world, donates to various charities a year and specializes in sharing inspiration through various media outlets. Marcus is also the founder and CEO of Gill House Books, a book publishing company that specializes in publishing books for Gill family authors and friends. He has written multiple best selling books that have served as life changing tools for every reader.
Marcus Gill International is a monthly contributor to various Christian schools across the United States and the world. MGI also takes pride in sending quarterly donations to multiple churches across the United States, to lend support to the vision of local ministries. His most joyful philanthropic effort has been the Gill - Butler Basketball Classic, an all star basketball game featuring many of the most talented middle school basketball students in Horry County South Carolina. This event is fully sponsored by Marcus Gill. During the holiday season, Pastor Marcus is led to donate to handpicked families, by paying rent, filling pantries and supply clothing for those who need assistance.
